They have created so many classic films together that they are often considered somewhat synonymous with one another. Although John Williams is 93 years old, he has continued to create some of the greatest music of our generation.
Steven Spielberg is responsible for writing and directing some of the most important films ever created. Jaws, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and the original Jurassic Park are all his films. Moreover, John Williams also created the score for each of these incredible titles. Many of these films set the precedent for what would become one of the most recognizable film collaborations in history. At this point, if the two are working on a movie together, there is a high probability that it will be groundbreaking, to say the least.
At this point, there is virtually no telling what Steven Spielberg’s film could be about. It is confirmed that it is a sci-fi thriller starring Emily Blunt, James O’ Connor, and Colman Domingo. Yet, that isn’t a lot to go off of despite the theatrical release set for June 12th, 2026. Although some footage has been released about the film’s production, its larger nuances remain a mystery.
