Derek Hough just shared a throwback Dancing With the Stars video with Bindi Irwin, and the clip left fans in their feels 10 years after the duo on Season 21 of the ABC competition series.
On Sunday, Nov. 2, the DWTS judge (and former pro dancer on the show) took to Instagram with a photo of himself and the older sister of current DWTS contestant Robert Irwin.
“Couldn’t find my guitar so I picked up this Irwinstrument ;)),” Hough, 40, captioned his update. “ROCK WEEK @dancingwiththestars@bindisueirwin.”
In the video, Hough, while wearing a backwards hat, picked up Bindi and strummed her like a guitar while holding her upside down. The song “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” by The Darkness played. During Season 21, Hough and Bindi fittingly danced to Elton John‘s “Crocodile Rock for Rock Week.
On Tuesday, Nov. 4, Season 34 couples will rock out during Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, likely the inspiration behind Hough’s video. Robert and his dance partner, Witney Carson, will perform a Paso Doble to “Icky Thump” by The White Stripes.
In the comments of Hough’s post, Bindi declared, “ROCK WEEK 🤘🏼🔥.”
Another follower confessed, “I remember this like it was yesterday!!!” as a third follower exclaimed, “Loved this duo so much!”
Someone else pointed out, “Haha we need @robertirwinphotography and @witneycarson to remake this. 😂🥰 so cute!!.”
A different Instagram follower shared, “Loved this duo so much!” as another begged, “Is there no way we can see you two dance together again this season?”
Meanwhile, yet another fan commented, “You 2 have my favorite EVER dance, years ago but BEST EVER!! Tears 😢 just flowed, dancing for her Dad 💙.”
Do you think Robert will follow in Bindi’s footsteps by taking home the Mirrorball Trophy?
Catch new episodes of Dancing With the Stars on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
