Neil Patrick Harris‘ family created a customized high-budget Indiana Jones movie poster to celebrate Halloween. This year featured more realistic and creative get-ups, as everyone drastically upped their game, including many celebrities. Harris took to Instagram to reveal his family’s Halloween theme this year.

The Harris-Burtka household went from dressing as music icons in 2024 to an Indiana Jones-themed Halloween this year. With the anticipation being high every year for Harris and family’s outfit reveal, this year, they had fans obsessed. Harris took to Instagram to upload an Indiana Jones movie poster featuring him, his husband David Burtka, and their twins Harper and Gideon.
The How I Met Your Mother star captioned the post, “Happy Halloween from the Burtka-Harris Production Company. Copyright 2025, all frights reserved.” In this ‘Legen—wait for it—dary!’ showing, their son Gideon takes center stage as Indiana Jones, while Harris and Burtka are dressed formally in fedoras. Their daughter Harper looks angelic in her outfit, while the poster also features their dogs. The movie poster titled, “Indiana Jones and the Family of Doom,” features text at the top that reads, “If Halloween had a name… it must be Burtka-Harris.”
Never failing to level up year after year, Harris and his family have consistently delivered amazing costumes in the past. They celebrated a Star Wars themed Halloween in 2015, followed by dressing as Hollywood icons in 2016. A few more recent outfits include fast food mascots in 2022, Greek Gods in 2023 and music icons in 2024.
Fans and friends alike flooded the comments with admiration and praise for Harris and his family. Harris’ HIMYM co-star Cobie Smulders commented, “Yes yes yes!!!!” Other fans mentioned how they revisit Harris’ Instagram page every year to check out his Halloween post. Another fan wrote, “Burtka-Harris cinematic universe! Love this so much!”
