The chicest fashion sisters made a rare joint appearance at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards tonight.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen skipped the red carpet and snuck into the ceremony at the American Museum of Natural History, where they coordinated in sleek, all-black ensembles, presumably from their brand, the Row.
They each wore long, tuxedo-like coats layered over matching black tops and slacks, while completing their fits with inky heels. Ashley accessorized her look with a dazzling silver brooch, while Mary-Kate chose a resplendent necklace composed of large amber-colored gemstones.
Tonight’s gala, hosted by the Council of Fashion Designers of America, celebrates the best in American fashion.
The Olsen sisters ended up winning in the category of American Accessory Designer of the Year, where they were up against Ana Khouri, Catherine Holstein for Khaite, Raul Lopez for Luar, and Tory Burch. They were also nominated in the American Menswear Designer of the Year category.
The sisters won the American Accessory Designer of the Year Award for their work at their brand, the Row.
Several fashion insiders and designers will be celebrated tonight. A$AP Rocky will receive the Fashion Icon Award, while Donatella Versace will be given the Positive Change Award.
The Olsens coordinated in sleek, all-black looks for the occasion.
Presided over by CFDA chairman Thom Browne and CEO and President Steven Kolb, the evening will be hosted by singer Teyana Taylor. Presenters will include Addison Rae, Amber Valletta, Ariana DeBose, Ava Duvernay, Benito Skinner, Christopher John Rogers, Jennifer Fisher, Julianne Moore, Leslie Bibb, Naomi Campbell, and Nicole Phelps. Designer and The Real Housewives of New York City star Jenna Lyons will host the red carpet.
