Max Chambers represented Shreveport again on Monday night on “The Voice,” singing a Stevie Wonder song in the Knockout round and moving on to the Playoffs.
Chambers performed in the Knockout round of “The Voice,” where he competed on Michael Bublé’s team against Max Cooper III.
“Max, for my money, is a frontrunner to win ‘The Voice’ this year,” Bublé said. “He could be the youngest winner in ‘The Voice’ history.”
Bublé also said he thinks Chambers could be the reason he wins for a third year in a row.
Chambers sang “Don’t You Worry ’Bout a Thing” by Stevie Wonder and was chosen over Cooper to move on to the Playoffs. Bublé also decided to use the new feature, “Mic Drop,” on Chambers.
For this Knockout round, there were no saves or steals from the other judges, but an added feature called “Mic Drop,” where each coach could select one performance that went above and beyond. Among those four, America will vote for which artist gets to sing in the New Year’s Day Rose Parade, according to NBC.

“I was so excited, I felt like I was doing millions of people a favor,” Bublé said. “I do hope you’ll vote for him because I think he deserves to be there.”
Coaches Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg said Chambers was like watching Michael Jackson as a kid, and Snoop Dogg said, based on the Knockout performances so far, he thinks Chambers will win “The Voice.”
“That performance was phenomenal,” Snoop Dogg said. Coach Reba McEntire said she could’ve listened to his performance all day.
Guest coach Zac Brown joined Bublé to coach Chambers and Cooper, and Chambers said he wanted to prove to Bublé that he was capable even at 14.
Brown said his control is so advanced that he could teach him how to sing. Cooper said he had the biggest smile on his face watching Chambers perform.
