Carly Rae Jepsen and her music producer husband are expecting their first child together, announcing the happy news in a heartwarming social media post.
The 39-year-old singer, known for her hit Call Me Maybe, took to Instagram with a sweet post of her and hubby Cole M.G.N sitting on a bed together with Jepsen’s growing baby bump in full show.
Wearing pyjamas and slippers, Jepsen smiled with happiness as Cole, also casually dressed, lovingly touched her stomach.
“Oh, hi baby,” she wrote in the post’s caption.
It comes after the couple married on October 4 in New York City after three years of dating, with Jepsen describing the intimate ceremony as her “favourite day of my life”.
As the newlyweds enter the next phase of their lives together, some fans were left wanting to know more about Cole who is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Since graduating, he has been successful in the music industry, working with artists like Beck, Anderson.Paak, Christine & the Queens, Ariel Pink, and Dev Hynes and winning six Grammys for his talent.
He has also worked with his wife on her 2023 album The Loveliest Time.
One of the songs called So Right is about their “meet-cute” — the first time they laid eyes on each other.
