Kevin Feige Makes ’Transformational Gift’ to USC’s School of Cinematic Arts

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios and chief creative officer at Marvel, has donated a “transformational gift” to the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, according to a release from the institution. The endowment establishes the Kevin Feige Division of Film & Television and will be a source of funding for faculty, students with additional programmatic support.

The Kevin Feige Division of Film & Television will offer students the opportunity to receive training in filmmaking across multiple mediums such as traditional filmmaking principles to the rising industry practices, including virtual production, AI, and other tools.

“Kevin Feige is above all a remarkable storyteller who brings innovative and impactful cinema to our screens epitomizing the kind of film producer the School of Cinematic Arts strives to graduate,” said Elizabeth Daley, Dean of the School of Cinematic Arts, in the release. “He has also been a steadfast supporter of the School and its students.
