A legendary rock frontman says he will not reunite with his bandmates at the 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Bad Company’s Paul Rodgers announced on the band’s X page that, while he has no issues singing, for health reasons, he will be unable to attend the ceremony.
“My hope was to be at the Rock & Rock Hall of Fame induction ceremony and to perform for the fans, but at this time I have to prioritize my health,” Rodgers wrote. “I have no problem singing, it’s the stress of everything else. Thanks for understanding.”
Rodgers did not reveal what is wrong with his health, only that he will not be able to be at the event.
The 2025 Rock Hall class also includes the White Stripes, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, and Outkast.
Salt-N-Pepa and the late Warren Zevon will get the Musical Influence Award. The late record producer Thom Bell, pianist Nicky Hopkins and bassist Carol Kaye will each get the Musical Excellence Award.
