Miles Teller may not be privvy to any of pal Taylor Swift‘s wedding details—yet—but he does have a pretty good idea about what’s to come.
Parade was present for a screening of his latest film, Eternity, at the Savannah Film Festival on Oct. 25—where his co-star, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, presented him with the Distinguished Performance Award for his role in the project—and while speaking with reporter Clarisa Franceschi about the film, he shared a prediction for what is surely slated to be the wedding of the century: that of Travis Kelce and the global superstar.
Francheschi called back to a statement made by Teller at another film festival, TIFF, where he shared that one of his reasons for marrying wife Keleigh Teller was that he wanted to spend eternity with her, a thought that was present throughout filming.
Teller Stars in ‘Eternity,’ a Romantic Comedy, Out Later This Month
“…it certainly makes you think about…all of your loved ones,” Teller tells Parade. “Like, mortality is something that—nobody’s getting out of this thing alive.”
“I’m very fortunate to have Kelly by my side—she’s the best,” he adds. “I can’t wait to grow old with Kelly. Not too fast, but like, slowly but surely.”
The love triangle aspect is something he’s no stranger to, having starred in Swift’s music video for the Red vault track “I Bet You Think About Me”—a topic that led into the nuptials to come.
Nearly two years into their news-making courtship, the couple that some have compared to American royalty were engaged in their own beautifully decorated backyard.
While the couple, as you might expect, is keeping most of the details so far under wraps, Swift also recently admitted, while appearing on Graham Norton’s show, that she’s not all that focused on nailing down the plans, yet—instead focusing on her recently released 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
The Singer’s Wedding Details Remain Under Wraps—For Now
Swift joked, “Oh, you’ll know,” when it comes to the establishment of her wedding date, telling the host that he was on the invitation list. She described the wedding as “huge,” admitting that she finds ceremonies with “a small amount of people [stressful].”
Having to “evaluate or assess your relationship[s]” to craft an intimate guest list is not in the cards for her, as she joked, “I’m inviting everyone I’ve ever talked to.”
You’d expect that to mean Teller and his wife are on the list, but the actor admits that he doesn’t yet know if he’s on the guest list for the main event.
But, he does know one thing for sure: “That is going to be, I imagine, one impressive wedding,” he says.
Either way, he’s “very happy for them,” having been friends with both Swift and Kelce for years. “Yeah, I think they’re having a blast,” he concludes. “That’s the point.”
Swift Once Detailed Her Dream Wedding in a 2013 Interview
Back in the day, while promoting her then-newly-released fourth studio album Red, the then-23-year-old offered a surprisingly “profound” response to her dream wedding, sweetly admitting that when the time came, she didn’t want to just whip out a scrapbook of her own making and take control of the whole thing. “I want to build a life with someone that’s based on their dreams as well as my dreams,” she explained at the time. “I don’t want him to wonder if it even matters if he’s there.”
Eternity is a romantic comedy also starring Elizabeth Olsen as Teller’s wife Joan, which finds the couple in the afterlife after 67 years of marriage with Joan split between spending eternity with him, or her first love, Luke (Callum Turner), who died far too young. It’s slated for nationwide release on Nov. 26, 2025.
