AKRON, Ohio — Akron Comicon returns to Emidio’s Expo Center, 48 E. Bath Road in Cuyahoga Falls, on Saturday, Nov. 8, and Sunday, Nov. 9. The 12th annual event will feature appearances by comic book creators, film and TV actors, well-known cosplayers and more.
Headliners include former Marvel Comics art director Steve Geiger (“Spider-Man Unlimited,” “The Incredible Hulk”); actor Greg Evigan (“B.J. and the Bear,” “General Hospital,” “My Two Dads”); and Marta Kristen, who played Judy Robinson on “Lost in Space.”
The event offers something for every kind of fan, from celebrity panels and Q&A sessions to autograph and photo opportunities. Artist Alley will showcase local and national comic book talent, while the vendor floor will be packed with comics, collectibles and pop culture merchandise. There’s also a cosplay contest with prizes for adults and kids, plus activities and workshops designed to inspire young fans.
Hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 for a single day or $25 for both days. For tickets and more information, go to akroncomicon.com.
