It’s the singer’s first solo music since 2023

It’s been two years since we’ve had solo music from Ellie Goulding, with the singer releasing several collabs since, including ‘Save My Love’ with Marshmello and Avaion, earlier this year.
Now the singer has announced a new song called ‘Destiny’ and we won’t have to wait long to get our hands on it. Taking to her socials to reveal the name of her new track, Ellie wrote: ‘Destiny Out 12th November at 5pm GMT Presave at the link in bio’.
The artwork shows a side headshot of Ellie with her head covered in a veil, with the word ‘Destiny’ written in a gothic font.
Following the announcement, Ellie’s post had more than 30k likes on Instagram with hundreds of fans leaving comments. One fan wrote: ‘Goooosh, can’t waittttt😍’ (sic) with another saying: ‘I can’t wait to hear this song 🥺🤍’.
This latest announcement, confirming the release date of the song, follows a previous post where Ellie could be seen wearing the same veil and a dark red leather trench coat, while her hands, can be seen raised near her neck.
In recent years Ellie Goulding has released several collabs such as ‘Save My Love’ with Marshmello and Avaion, and ‘Hypnotized’ with Anyma this year, however it was in 2023 and 2024 that she had two huge hits with Calvin Harris. Their 2023 song ‘Miracle‘ wasn’t just a Number 1 hit in the UK, it was also certified 2x Platinum, meaning it sold more than 1.2 million units. The song was also nominated for a BRIT Award and a Grammy Award.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have announced they will be releasing an album together. The pair, who got engaged in December 2024 will release their collaborative album called ‘I Said I Love You First‘ in March 2025.
Dua Lipa – ‘Future Nostalgia’ fifth anniversary edition

Dua Lipa has announced a special edition of her album ‘Future Nostalgia‘ to celebrate its fifth anniversary. The album was originally released on 27th March just as the UK went into its first lockdown, and features hits such as ‘Don’t Start Now’, ‘Levitating’ and ‘Physical’.
James Arthur – ‘Pisces’

James Arthur released his highly anticipated sixth studio album, ‘Pisces‘ on 25th April 2025. He had been teasing his new release since early December, following the release of the first song from the album ‘ADHD’. The album features 12 songs and speaking about the album, James said: “I’ve honestly never been more proud of a project. This is the album I want everyone to hear in full.”
Miley Cyrus – ‘Something Beautiful’

Miley Cyrus confirmed in March that she would be releasing a new album, a visual album, called ‘Something Beautiful‘ at the end of May. The album has now been released and features 13 original songs, Miley is the executive producer along with Shawn Everett.
On 19th September, Miley released a deluxe edition of the album featuring two extra songs, both collaborations. ‘Secrets‘ featuring Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood, and ‘Lockdown’ featuring David Bryne.
Benson Boone – ‘American Heart’

American singer Benson Boone dropped his second album ‘American Heart’ on 26th June. The 10-track album, which was written in just two weeks, features singles ‘Mystical Magical’, ‘Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else’, and the heartfelt ‘Mr. Electric Blue.
Lizzo – ‘My Face Hurts When I’m Smiling’

Lizzo released a surprise mixtape called ‘My Face Hurts When I’m Smiling’ on 27th June. The album contains 13 tracks, including ‘Still Can’t Fuh’ featuring Doja Cat and ‘IRL’ featuring SZA.

Taking fans by surprise, Justin Bieber dropped a new album, with barely any warning. It might not be what you expected, from the singer known for his pop hits ‘Baby’, ‘Love Yourself’ and ‘Sorry’. The 21 track album is an RnB offering called ‘Swag‘.

Speaking to Hits Radio, Tom explained the significance behind the album name, saying: “It is me kind of saying, ‘no matter what happens, I’ll look back at the title and go, you know what actually, now I’ve championed myself and I’ve got better and I’m proud of myself’.”
Niall Horan – ‘Heartbreak Weather’ fifth anniversary edition

Niall Horan celebrated the fifth anniversary of his album ‘Heartbreak Weather’ with a special edition, featuring some new songs, and live versions. ‘Heartbreak Weather’ was originally released on 13th March 2020, just before the UK went into its first national lockdown, and the singer told us at the time: “The timing of the release of an album I’ve spent a year and a half working on, is probably the worst ever. In terms of releases and timings, it’s been very frustrating with everything being cancelled.”
He released a digital copy of the anniversary back in March, with physical versions arriving in August.

In May 2025, JADE confirmed the name and release date for her debut solo album. The album is called ‘That’s Showbiz Baby!’ and was released on 12th September, supported by a tour starting a month later on 8th October.
Doja Cat

Following the release of her single ‘Jealous Type’, Doja Cat released her album ‘Vie’, featuring 15 songs, including a collaboration with SZA. The album artwork features the singer hanging from a parachute caught in a tree.
Zara Larsson – ‘Midnight Sun’

‘Lush Life’ singer Zara Larsson released her fifth album ‘Midnight Sun‘ on 26th September. The album features the title track released in June, and the lead song from her album ‘Pretty Ugly’.
Taylor Swift

In August, Taylor Swift announced she would be releasing her 12th album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ in October 2025. The album features 12 songs, including the title track with Sabrina Carpenter. Along with the release of the album, Taylor dropped her lead single ‘The Fate of Ophelia‘ and a launch party movie available in cinemas during the release weekend.
Olly Murs

Olly Murs, the singer behind hits such as ‘Troublemaker’, ‘Dance with Me Tonight’ and ‘Dear Darlin”, has now confirmed the name and release date for his eighth album, ‘Knees Up‘. The album will feature 12 songs and be released on 21st November.
Craig David
Release date: 12th December
Craig David will be re-issuing his debut album ‘Born To Do It’, to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The album, which features hits such as ‘7 Days’ and ‘Walking Away’, will be available on gold vinyl as well as a digital download, filled with remixes and rare songs in time for Christmas.
Jax Jones
Release date: Unknown
Jax Jones has revealed he will be releasing his second studio album in 2025, however he has yet to reveal when it will be released or the tracklist. He has however confirmed it will feature some big collaborations.
