Lizzo and her boyfriend, Myke Wright, stepped for a glamorous date night at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell.
Lizzo, 37, showed off her curves in a fitted, black sequin gown with matching pumps and was decked out in diamonds. The “Truth Hurts” singer rocked a diamond choker, tennis bracelet, drop earrings and a handful of large diamond rings for the occasion.
For glam, Lizzo wore her hair in loose teased waves with a rosy blush and a smoky eye.
Wright, 39, for his part, looked dapper in a monogrammed Gucci blazer with silk slacks and a pair of aviator sunglasses. (The annual benefit raised a record-breaking $18 million to support Baby2Baby’s mission of supporting children in need.)
Lizzo and Wright have been together since 2022.
“I have the most genuine people around me. They don’t give a s*** about Lizzo with the chain on. They care about Melissa, and everyone I’m close with has known me before all of this happened and I think that’s important,” Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Jefferson, said on The Breakfast Club in July 2022. “Even the man I’m with, he knew me before all of this too. We were friends. It hit different when they knew you before 2019.”
Months later, Lizzo offered insight into her relationship — and whether they were ready to take the next step as a couple.
“I’ve known him for over six years. He’s everything. We’re just in love, and that’s it. People fight for monogamy like they pray to it every day,” the Yitty founder told Vanity Fair in October 2022. “I am not a polyamorous person, I’m not in love with multiple partners. That is not me. He’s the love of my life.”

She added, “We are life mates. Do I want to get married? If I wanted to start a business with him, I’d get married because that’s when your finances come together.”
After three years of dating, Lizzo decided to keep certain aspects of her love life out of the limelight.
“There’s a lot that’s sacred,” she said during a May interview on The Breakfast Club. “You know my barometer for what [I share] with the world? If you really love something, keep that s*** a secret. There are things that I protect now that [I used to] not think of it as protection. I thought of it as, ‘I’m keeping something from my fans [and] the public. I want you guys to see it.’”

Lizzo further explained that, shortly after she “hard launched” her romance with Wright, she had a change of heart about how much to share via social media.
“Two seconds, it was like, ‘Y’all don’t know how to act. You lost your privileges,’” she quipped. “All that cute s*** and all that Black love? Back in the vault. I don’t want to give nobody the opportunity to destroy something good. I found it wasn’t really about my relationship that people did that, it was other things.”
Lizzo continued, “It was like, ‘I don’t want to give you the opportunity, no shade or disrespect, I love everyone, but due to new management in my personal life, I have to protect this’ because I saw so much [of my past relationships] get destroyed by lies. I didn’t want that to happen to my [new] relationship.”
