In a recent interview at the New York premiere of his latest TV show, Death by Lightning, Offerman confirmed that he will appear on Poehler’s Good Hang podcast. He also shared that he was currently scheduled to record his appearance.
While excited about his appearance on the show, The Last of Us actor admitted to PEOPLE he was nervous about being interviewed by Poehler. “It’s like being interviewed by your sister,” he shared. “I’m excited to see her, and I’m crazy about Amy. I just wanna do a good job.”
Offerman highlighted the scale of Poehler’s platform and expressed hope that he wouldn’t do his typical “faux pas.” It’s currently unknown when the Good Hang episode featuring Offerman will air.
Offerman’s upcoming appearance on the podcast is technically his second. He had previously briefly appeared on the August 12, 2025, episode, which featured Adam Scott as the main guest. In the episode, the pair discussed Scott’s acting career and expressed their admiration for him.
Offerman’s confirmation about his appearance on the podcast comes one month after his hilarious reunion with co-star Jim O’Heir on a shared flight. The former joined forces with flight attendants to prank the latter, who was unaware of Offerman’s presence on the flight until the prank was executed. Offerman’s appearance also comes several years after he and Poehler co-hosted the NBC reality competition series Making It.
The Good Hang podcast — which was announced in February and launched the following month — has featured several Parks and Recreation actors as guests, including Aubrey Plaza, Rashida Jones, and Aziz Ansari.
