Adam Peaty’s mother Caroline has been banned from his wedding to Holly Ramsay
Adam Peaty’s mom has allegedly been barred from his upcoming wedding to Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly next month. The explosive family drama reportedly kicked off after Adam’s mother Caroline was left off the guest list for Holly’s lavish hen party at Soho Farmhouse.
This happened even though Holly’s own mom Tana Ramsay was invited, along with family friend Victoria Beckham. But the soon-to-be mother-in-law was apparently left out in the cold from the exclusive celebration.
The 59 year old reportedly remained home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, babysitting her five year old grandson George, whom Olympic swimmer Adam shares with ex Eirianedd Munro. Meanwhile, Adam did extend an invitation to future father-in-law Gordon, also 59, for his bachelor party.

Caroline’s sister – Adam’s aunt – Louise Williams has now publicly slammed 25 year old Holly, branding her “divisive and hurtful” in a scathing social media rant.
The outburst is believed to have deeply wounded influencer Holly, who has been romantically linked with Adam, 30, for over two years.
Taking to Instagram, Louise unleashed her fury at Holly over snubbing Caroline, whom she claims “opened her home and heart to you” saying it caused “a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever”.
In a pointed jab at Holly, she wrote: “@hollyramsayy I’m so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman, who I have loved and continue to love deeply.
“A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law to your hen night yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night.
“You invited your mum (quite rightly) and even your mum’s assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law.
“I have also seen messages passing between her and Adam about this and other matters and, quite frankly, I expected better of you and definitely of Adam. You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever.”
A source reportedly close to Adam’s working class family claimed the snub occurred after the Olympic gold medalist – who wouldn’t have a career without his hardworking parents guiding him to success – became “seduced by the fame and glamour of the Ramsays”.
Following his aunt’s post, MailOnline reports that Adam sent his “heartbroken” mother – who he was once incredibly close to – a message forbidding her from attending the wedding scheduled to take place at Bath Abbey over Christmas.
He’s also alleged to have expressed his plans to cut ties with his family in messages viewed by the publication and declared his mom would never see his son George or any future grandchildren again.
The split between Adam and his mother – who used to wake up at 4am to drive him to swimming practice before heading to work herself – is reportedly said to have been building ever since Adam started dating Holly.
It’s reported that Caroline and her husband were originally invited to the wedding alongside other relatives, and she enthusiastically purchased a dress for the occasion.
However, Adam and Holly allegedly disapproved of her choice and offered to buy her a replacement outfit they found more suitable.
Adam is believed to have funded his parents’ train journey to Bath for a shopping expedition, which they agreed to, but the outing was canceled due to the train stabbings in Huntingdon two weeks prior.
According to a source speaking to the Mail, rather than rescheduling the excursion, “Adam went mad” claiming they had “wasted his money” and he “wouldn’t be able to get a refund” despite his millionaire status.
Caroline’s generous proposal to contribute to the wedding by creating table setting name plates, utilizing her crafting skills, was also reportedly rejected by Holly and Adam – with her being told her assistance was “not needed”.
The source revealed: “Adam has changed so much since he’s been with Holly. She comes from a celebrity world, while his parents do not, and his ego and self-importance have grown.
“He’s no longer the lovely boy next door we all remember. It’s partly because Adam doesn’t feel his family is good enough for the new one he is now part of.
“Caroline is devastated by the rift and doesn’t know what she has done wrong. Adam’s relationship with his mum and dad Mark are at an all-time low, and now she’s not coming to the wedding.
“‘They feel that Adam started to grow distant from his family after he met Holly and they started to become more serious. There is a feeling that money is an issue.
“His family are working class and proud – it’s a stark contrast to the Ramsay family and some members of the family have said it feels like Adam is ashamed of them.”
Reports suggest that only Adam’s sister Bethany will be attending the wedding as other family members cannot afford the hotel expenses. And it appears Adam hasn’t offered to cover the costs.
Caroline has addressed the controversy through her own Instagram post, writing: “Crying is a way your eyes speak when your mouth can’t explain how broken your heart is.”
