Paris Jackson opens up about permanent nose injury after years of drug addiction

Paris Jackson has opened up about the long-term damage her past drug use has left on her body — revealing she’s been living with a hole in her nose.

Michael Jackson’s only daughter, 27, told fans in a candid Tiktok video on November 10 that she has “a perforated septum” caused by drug use.

“I realised I never addressed this and it can sometimes be very noticeable,” she said.

“I have a really loud whistle when I breathe through my nose, and that is because I have what is called a perforated septum.”

The American Horror Story actress then shone her phone light up her nose to show viewers the damage, explaining that a perforated septum is “slightly different” from a deviated one.

“And that is what you think it’s from,” she admitted.

“Don’t do drugs, kids,” she said before adding “Or do – I mean, everyone is going to have the experience they need to have with life. I’m not going to tell anyone what to do. But I don’t recommend it because it ruined my life.”

Jackson, who has been open about her past heroin and alcohol addiction, said she doesn’t want to undergo plastic surgery to repair the damage because she’s “almost six years sober” and will have to be medicated to undergo the procedure.

“You have to take pills when you do a surgery that gnarly.”

The singer, who marked five years of sobriety in January, previously reflected on her recovery journey, writing:

“It’s because I’m sober that I get to smile today. I get to make music. I get to experience the joy of loving my dogs and cat. I get to laugh. I get to dance. I get to trust. I feel the sun on my skin and it’s warm.”

It comes after Jackson revealed she has ended her relationship with fiancé Justin Long and called off their wedding earlier this year.
