“South Park” will return this week with a brand-new episode that’s set to air at its normal day and time.
This week, showrunners Trey Parker and Matt Stone are choosing to focus on Butters and his AI revenge plan, according to the official “South Park” X account.
This comes after they defended their decision to consistently spoof Trump in an interview with the New York Times, with Parker stating, “It’s not that we got all political. It’s that politics became pop culture.”
While we expect to see Butters’ revenge plan go astray, causing an epidemic of fake videos that sees Detective Harris struggle to tell what’s real and what’s fake, will we get a break from Trump this week? Only one way to find out.
