The evolution of in-vehicle entertainment

Lit manager Kevin Rowe has landed at Entertainment 360 following his exit from 2AM, on which we just reported exclusively, Deadline can confirm.

Rowe had been with 2AM since its inception four years ago. He founded the management and production company with former Endeavor Content partner Christine D’Souza Gelb and Killer Films alum David Hinojosa. But 2AM is now winding down its operations as its founders pursue new creative ventures.

Prior to 2AM, Rowe was at Odenkirk Provissiero (now OPE Partners) for several years. He began his career as an assistant at Gersh and also spent several years as a trainee at Principato-Young (now Artists First).

2AM launched in strategic partnership with A24, which provided financial backing while taking an arms-length approach to the company. The deal marked A24’s first foray into investing in management.

Recently, we’re told, the 2AM principals had stepped back from their relationship with the studio, working to financially disentangle themselves. They then entertained multiple offers from other backers that would allow them to continue operating, and got very close with one, though the deal fell apart, leading Hinojosa, Rowe and D’Souza Gelb to go their separate ways.

Known for producing films like Celine Song’s Oscar-nominated Past Lives, 2AM’s roster included such filmmakers as Mary Bronstein, Janicza Bravo, A.V. Rockwell, Elegance Bratton, Sarah Adina Smith, Arkasha Stevenson, Mariama Diallo, Crystal Moselle, Sam and Max Eggers, Savanah Leaf, Mariama Diallo, James Sweeney and Matt Spicer, among many others. The company also repped on-screen talent including Sean Hayes, Eliza Scanlen, Jayme Lawson and actor-musician Dominic Fike.

Going forward, their production projects with A24 and other studios, led by either D’Souza Gelb or Hinojosa, will still move forward, though there’s no word yet on next destinations for either.
