Mark Ballas wants his Dancing with the Stars partner Whitney Leavitt to head to Broadway after Tuesday night’s performance—even though her time in the ballroom won’t be ending anytime soon.
Following their tango to “Cell Block Tango” from ‘Chicago the Musical’ on Tuesday night, the pro dancer immediately went into partner mode and tee’d up the The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star for perhaps her next venture.
“Where you at @Chicagomusical?” he wrote on an Instagram story, directly mentioning the long-running Broadway show.
The mom and reality star, who has remained a top contender in the ballroom dance competition, received the highest scores of the night for her performance. She and Ballas also had immunity so they’re guaranteed to stay in the competition another week.
Ahead of the performance, Leavitt took to Instagram expressing gratitude and excitement for the show.
“It still feels so surreal to me to be a part of a show I’ve admired for so long,” she wrote. “One that’s brought me so much joy and laughter! I’m so grateful for every step that led me here and for everyone who’s supported me along the way. Tonight is an extra special one, and I can’t wait for you guys to see it!”

However, while she may be busy in the future as the The Secret Lives of Mormon Wivestrailer for season three just dropped, the breakout dancer wouldn’t be the only celeb to go from the ballroom to Broadway. Most recently, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix was on DWTS and then played Roxie Hart in “Chicago,” while previously Pamela Anderson and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne also went from the dance competition to playing the lead role in the show.
