Lauren Sánchez Bezos has never been one to shy away from a daring look. Be it impossibly-cinched couture or a naked dress for a dinner out, the former journalist loves to make a statement, and she’ll do it whether she’s digging through the archives or pulling something completely new.
So, it should come as no surprise that when the new Mrs. Bezos hosted Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party this past weekend along with her husband, Jeff, she wore one of the most eye-catching ensembles of the evening.
The party, fittingly, was James Bond themed (you know, 007), and Sánchez Bezos’s sheer design was one that could’ve made a Bond girl blush.
For the occasion, the View alum chose a plunging black gown that was completely see-through. The bodice cut all the way down to her navel, where it was met by a ruched, body-hugging skirt, while the fabric traveled over her shoulders to create two sashes that hung by her sides. Otherwise, the dress was completely backless, and sleeveless, and Sánchez Bezos accessorized with stacks of dazzling silver jewelry, including one large statement pendant in the shape of a cross. She also slipped into a pair of pointy black heels.
Earlier this week, the Black Ops Aviation founder got some more time bonding with the Kardashian-Jenner crew, when she attended a VIP dinner hosted by Dior in Beverly Hills. For the event, she chose a vintage look from the French maison’s Fall 1998 ready-to-wear collection by John Galliano, and she was seen posing for pictures alongside Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
