KIRTLAND, Ohio – Lake Metroparks Farmpark is kicking off its inaugural Holiday Ice & Lights Festival.
It is scheduled to take place noon to 9 p.m. Friday to Sunday, Nov. 28-30.
The fest combines lights and a bit of North Pole magic for visitors of all ages. Activities include:
• Photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus in a festive sleigh.
• An intricate North Pole train display from the Northern Ohio Garden Railway Society.
• A cookie-decorating workshop where families can decorate Mrs. Claus’ famous sugar cookies (small fee).
• Ice carvers shaping blocks of ice into seasonal sculptures.
• A wagon ride and holiday-themed equine show.
Local vendors will sell seasonal drinks and treats.
