Christmas is already in full swing at Jennifer Garner’s house!
The 13 Going on 30 star, 53, shared a sneak peek at some of the Christmas decorations she set up at her Los Angeles home in an Instagram post on Thursday, Nov. 13.
Garner’s vegetable greenhouse is on full display in the first photo, as a simple wreath adorned with a red bow and glowing lights can be seen hanging on the door. The next slide shows the trees in her yard with red and white fabric wrapped around the trunks to look like candy canes. She also strung white lights around the trunks and branches to create a magical twinkle.
In the final slide of the post, the actress shares a video clip of one unusual decoration at her home that seemingly strays from the Christmas theme.

In the video, she walks towards a large metal dinosaur sculpture standing tall in her yard topped with a stuffed turkey on its head.
She writes in the caption, “Me: Christmas,” followed by a check mark and a Christmas tree emoji. She then jokingly adds, “My dinosaur: Hold your horses,” alongside a turkey emoji, symbolizing Thanksgiving, which is still nearly two weeks away.

Garner previously shared a closer look at her backyard and all of its impressive features during a September 2024 home tour with Architectural Digest.
She highlighted her “cute” vegetable house at the time, and noted how she loves to grow kale at her home because “my kids and I love kale chips.” She shares kids Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13, with her ex-husband Ben Affleck.
As a longtime gardening enthusiast, Garner noted that another spot she “loves so much” at her house is the “little orchard” in her outdoor space, which is also outfitted with an alternative clover lawn.
“I love that you can come out here in the middle of the summer and find a snack,” she said of her orchard. “Growing up the daughter of a farmer, and having such connections to my family farm, it just truly thrills me,” she adds, referring to her family’s century-old property in Oklahoma.
Also during the tour, Garner revealed why her home is something she’s truly proud of and why sharing it with the world is a little out of character for her.

“I’m such a private person about my home and here I’ve just taken you through the entire house. And really, it’s for a couple of reasons,” she said in the video.
“I’ve never built anything all by myself before and I’m so proud of it,” she continued. “I am filled with gratitude every time I walk into my house. That I get to live here, that I’m so lucky to have my kids here.”
