Netflix finally dropped a brand new look at Eleven in Stranger Things Season 5, and it is already sending the fandom into a full-blown theory frenzy. The newly unlocked clip shows Eleven deep in an intense training montage: sprinting through a wooded junkyard, racing across abandoned trucks, leaping over buses, and blasting targets apart with telekinetic force. Viewers immediately get the sense that she is preparing for something huge.
However, the wildest part is how fans got the footage in the first place. The clip wasn’t simply uploaded online. Instead, it was hidden behind a Google scavenger hunt with a Stranger Things-themed puzzle that fans had to solve before the scene was revealed.
Eleven ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Clip: What the Teaser Shows
The teaser opens with Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, running across a wooded clearing in a blue bandana and a sweatshirt and shorts combo that instantly brings to mind every training montage from the ‘80s. She tears through an obstacle course created in the old junkyard originally seen in Stranger Things Season 2. This time around, instead of the kids battling demodogs, Eleven vaults from one rusted car to the next and hurls a telekinetic blast that obliterates a scarecrow target. It all builds to a dramatic slow motion leap over a bus, complete with a superhero landing.

The final shot cuts to Hopper (David Harbour) and Joyce (Winona Ryder) watching from the sidelines. Hopper holds a stopwatch like he is timing her progress and Joyce is cheering her on like she can barely contain her pride. Fans immediately began to theorize what is in store for their girl in Stranger Things 5.
One Redditor wrote, “Ahhhh! This has me so pumped! Our girl is out there getting ready for the fight of her life with her parents helping her train. I want a happy ending so badly for their little family they have created!”
Another fan joked that the whole moment practically begs for an ‘80s soundtrack, adding, “I want this with ‘Survivor Eye Of The Tiger’ playing in the background!”
Others picked up on Eleven’s emotional state going into the final showdown. One user wrote, “El is for sure going to be in ‘do or die’ mode. I feel like she will be pretty hard on herself too.”

Fans Had to Unlock the Clip Through a Google Scavenger Hunt
Netflix kept things extremely on brand by hiding the clip behind a multi step Google game. When fans search Stranger Things, a purple twenty sided die appears at the bottom of the page. Clicking it unlocks a series of quests. Some are trivia based, some are puzzles, and a few are encoded in Morse.
After completing all the quests, players are rewarded with a Dungeons and Dragons style character card. Only after collecting the card does Google reveal the exclusive Eleven Stranger Things Season 5 clip.
What Eleven’s Training Might Mean for ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5
There is a clear shift in Eleven’s energy in this teaser. She looks older and more disciplined, channeling her power with a fierceness she never had in the early seasons. Instead of raw force, she is working on speed, agility, and stamina, pushing herself through a training course that demands strategy as much as strength.
Between the scavenger hunt reveal, the gritty tone of the footage, and the immediate swell of fan theories, the message is loud and clear. Eleven is getting ready for something big.
Fortunately, fans don’t have much longer to wait. Stranger Things 5 Volume I premieres on November 26, 2025 on Netflix.
