Caribbean vibes are on the way
A music festival billed as ‘ultimate summer celebration’ is heading to Nottinghamshire.
The Rum & Reggae Festival will be bringing Caribbean vibes to its biggest venue yet — Colwick Park.
The park will come alive with the sounds, flavours and vibrant energy of the sunshine islands on Saturday, June 27, from 1pm to 11pm.
Presented by Live Republic, the festival promises to be the biggest and boldest yet, bringing together world-class live acts and DJs, plus an unbeatable selection of rum and street food.
Festival-goers can expect a powerhouse line-up of reggae legends and live acts including David Rodigan, Gentleman’s Dub Club, The Skints and General Levy.
Also performing on the main arena stage will be Mad Professor, Reggae Roast, Bob Marley tribute Xodus and V Rocket.
For fans of jungle, drum and bass, and bass-heavy beats, the Submerged in the Jungle arena will feature an explosive roster including 4AM Kru, Fabio & Grooverider & GQ, Roni Size & Dynamite and special guest Jungle Cakes.
The colourful decor, infectious rhythms, and an atmosphere guaranteed to transport you straight to the islands, helped along the way with Caribbean-inspired street food, tropical cocktails, and a huge selection of premium rums.
The festival is for adults-only. Tickets start at £33.25 with VIP tickets for priority entry, posh loos, private bar, and some seating are priced £49.75. For more information click here.
