Joji has shared details of a new album called ‘Piss In The Wind’ – check out the two new singles that accompanied news below.

The new record will mark the fourth LP from the singer-songwriter, and is set to arrive on February 6, 2026 via Palace Creek. Visit here to pre-save and pre-order.

‘Piss In The Wind’ is set to make a bridge between the sonic past of Joji, and balance it with the feelings in the present – pairing broody songwriting with atmospheric, cinematic production.

Last week, Joji shared the first preview of the album’s sound by sharing the introspective track ‘If It Only Gets Better’. Like the motifs in the album as a whole, the song sees the songwriter look back at his musical evolution and put forward a sense of vulnerability certain to resonate with fans.

The single makes subtle nods to Joji’s lo-fi roots, and sees him weave acoustic guitar melodies with syncopated bass and soaring harmonies. Check it out below.

As well as that single, Joji has also shared another taster called ‘Past Won’t Leave My Bed’, which continues the aforementioned themes of the album.

It begins with a haunting piano melody, before growing into a nuanced, cinematic arrangement.

In the lyrics, Joji explores the persistence ache of being tied to the past, and captures the difficulty in letting go of a past relationship. It comes with a music video directed by Ethan Eng, and makes nods to the singer’s highest-charting song to-date, ‘Glimpse of Us’.

Last month, the Australian-Japanese singer returned with his first new music in three years, the gritty new single ‘PIXELATED KISSES’. This marked the first new material since his 2022 album ‘SMITHEREENS’.

That track was the artist’s first release under his own imprint Palace Creek, which is distributed by Virgin Music. Before then, he was signed to 88rising since 2018, when he dropped his debut EP, ‘Tongues Rising’.
