Sarah Ferguson has been dealt yet another devastating blow after a former pal of hers issued a devastating three-word verdict. The former Duchess of York has been having a difficult time adjusting to her new normal after she was stripped of her title and will soon be forced to leave her home, Royal Lodge, where she has been residing since 2008.
Fergie’s links to convicted Jeffrey Epstein, as well as her husband’s association with him, have led to her very public downfall. The ex-duchess has maintained a very low profile after emails surfaced showing her referring to Epstein as her “supreme friend,” despite her team claiming that she sent them after the US financier threatened to sue her for defamation.
Now, a royal author has cited a source who got “too close” to Ms Ferguson and gave out a brutal verdict about her.
Christopher Wilson wrote for the Daily Mail: “Greedy, grabby, and grubby. That’s the verdict on the former Duchess of York who, according to someone who got too close to her, will ‘take everything – then bite your hand off to get the rings as well’.”
It comes as reports claimed Fergie and her husband no longer spend time together at Royal Lodge as they count their remaining days inside the Windsor residence.
A source told Woman’s Day Magazine that Fergie is “so angry with Andrew that he’s demanded she be kept away from him, which is upsetting her even more.”
The source said that the former Duchess has been feeling very “lonely” in Windsor.
They explained: “She’s been isolating herself within the Lodge, begging staffers to stay longer because she’s so lonely.”
Meanwhile, another source previously told The Sun: “Andrew and Sarah are leading separate lives — at different ends and on different wings.
“But they come together quite often for lunch and dinner, and this is where they talk about their futures. They have been heard having some pretty intense conversations about what is going on.”
