Brooke Hogan is one of four celebrities teaming up with HGTV design experts in a renovation competition on Season 7 of Rock the Block. The casting was announced on October 1, just over two months after Brooke’s dad, Hulk Hogan, died from a heart attack. After HGTV announced Brooke as one of the new Rock the Block cast members, she was met with an influx of online criticism. “You see all these people online, they’re like, ‘Oh, now that her ad passed away, she’s soaking up the fame.’ I’m like … we had this Rock the Block deal months before this happened,” Brooke told Entertainment Tonight in a new interview.
