A shocking unearthed video has gone viral, showing Justin Baldoni joking about sexual harassment training.
In the clip, which has been seen by Daily Express US, the actor seemingly joked about “missing sexual harassment training” while on the set of the hit movie, It Ends With Us.
The romance-drama, which has been all over the news this past year, features Blake Lively alongside Baldoni and is at the center of sexual harassment and smear campaign allegations.
In the video, the 41-year-old actor made the comment as he prepared to film a bar scene. Baldoni can be seen standing at a table and talking with co-stars Blake Lively and Jenny Slate, whose faces can’t be seen in the footage.
The actor/director then allegedly looks at Lively, saying, “I think it’s pretty hot. Sexy,” before he turns to Slate and goes, “Sorry, I missed the sexual harassment training,” while rolling his eyes.
According to the Daily Mail, the video was filed in court by Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios as part of his legal battle with Lively, 38. The news outlet wrote that Baldoni’s lawyers called his comment “entirely unremarkable” and claimed that the actress was wearing a fleece onesie at the time.
It was also reported in the filing that Lively responded to Baldoni’s comment with, “All good,” and that Baldoni’s “facial expression was neutral and not ogling or suggestive.”
However, his lawyers did note that what he said to Slate was “inappropriate,” describing it as an apology.
Lively and Baldoni’s legal issues started following the release of Coleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us, as the Gossip Girl actress accused him of sexual harassment, fostering a hostile work environment, and attempting to smear her reputation.
The original lawsuit was filed in December 2024, with Baldoni strongly denying the allegations and filing his own suit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, citing defamation. However, the lawsuit was dismissed in May, with the couple also denying the allegations.
Baldoni tried again to submit a $400 lawsuit against the pair, but this was dismissed in October after he missed the deadline to file an amended complaint with the court.
It was also reported this month that Baldoni’s legal team accused Lively of improvising an unscripted kiss in It Ends With Us deleted scene. The Jane the Virgin actor’s attorneys said that the famed actress and entrepreneur “oversaw a scene she herself added to the script, in which her character kissed Baldoni’s character in every take,” even though the act was not written in the original script.
Lively has not yet addressed the claims, but her legal team did previously allege that Baldoni had improvised romantic scenes in the movie.
