Tuesday was semifinal night on Dancing with the Stars, hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, with only six couples left competing for this season’s Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
The theme for the week was “Prince Night” when the semifinalists each performed two all-new routines for a chance to secure their spot in next week’s finale. One dance was a style they had not yet tackled this season, and the other was a repeat style that gave them the opportunity to show how much they’ve mastered this season.
The opening number was also be a tribute to The Purple One, featuring the troupe dancing to “Let’s Go Crazy” choreographed by Luam Keflezgy.
No honorific judge joined the table, so scores were meted out solely by Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

Who finished at the bottom of the Dancing with the Stars leaderboard tonight?
The lowest score of the night was Dylan Efron and his professional partner Daniella Karabagh. Dylan had a breakthrough last week, receiving a perfect score, but he dropped a little this week. For his first dance, a Tango, Carrie pointed out there was “a little mess up with footwork. I don’t feel you were feeling the music.” Then for his second dance, a Cha Cha, Derek said, “It was so impressive. You should be proud.” But it wasn’t enough to move him up the leaderboard.
