The first look at Peacock’s “Ponies” has been released. The 8-episode series will premiere on Jan. 15.
Taking place in Moscow in 1977, “Ponies” follows two women who work anonymously as secretaries in the American Embassy until their husbands are mysteriously killed in the USSR. As Bea (Emilia Clarke) and Twila (Haley Lu Richardson) begin to work together to solve the mystery that killed their husbands, the two uncover a Cold War conspiracy as they become CIA operatives.

FIRST LOOKS
Hulu has unveiled the first look at “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Season 3 Reunion Special,” set to premiere on Dec. 3 on Disney+ and Hulu. The special will be hosted by “Vanderpump Villa” star Stassi Schroeder.
The special will feature conversations with Taylor Frankie Paul, Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Miranda Hops, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, and Demi Engemann. The reunion will also show never-before-seen footage, diving deeper into the season’s biggest scandals.

Lyrical Media will launch Lyrical Animation, following the acquisition of Line Mileage. acob Robinson will serve as the Head of Lyrical Animation, Daniel Dominguez as Creative Director, and Brad Graeber will advise as a consultant on production for the company.
Lyrical Animation will focus first storytelling across film and television, tapping into adult animation and adult animated features.

Netflix has revealed the first trailer for “Elmo & Mark Rober’s Merry Giftmas,” a new “Sesame Street” holiday special.
“Elmo & Mark Rober’s Merry Giftmas” will follow Elmo and the “Sesame Street” characters as they team up with former NASA engineer Mark Rober to “make special presents for a Merry Giftmas exchange.” The special will debut three new original songs: “Merry Giftmas,” “Failure is Awesome,” and “The Best Christmas Gift is You.”
“Elmo & Mark Rober’s Merry Giftmas” is written by Halcyon Person and is executive produced by Scott Lewers, Sal Perez, Mark Rober and Kay Wilson Stallings.

HONORS
Dr. Jane Goodall will be posthumously honored with a Realscreen Action Award at the 2026 Realscreen Awards ceremony on Feb. 3 in Miami, Fla.
The award honors individuals whose unscripted and nonfiction film and television content inspires positive change. Dr. Goodall demonstrated this throughout her long career as an animal scientist and conservationist, showcased in documentaries spanning the 1965 National Geographic special “Miss. Goodall and the Wild Chimpanzees” to Bret Morgen’s 2017 feature, “Jane.” Her production company, Jane Goodall Productions, continues to develop projects in the spirit of Dr. Goodall’s work, including the upcoming documentary “Matriarch” from BBC Studios, PBS and WNET Group. Her work as a conservationist is continued through the Jane Goodall Institute, which she established in 1977 for the protection of chimpanzees.
Dr. Goodall passed away on Oct. 1 at age 91. Her film collaborator and the Jane Goodall Institute’s wildlife photographer Bill Wallauer will accept the award on her behalf.
