Kim Kardashian revealed that the intense stress of studying for the bar exam became even more frightening after doctors discovered she had a brain aneurysm.
The SKIMS founder discussed her health concerns after undergoing a full-body scan during Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”
“They called me today and they’re like, ‘Everything looks great, but you have an aneurysm in your brain,’” she told her sister Kourtney Kardashian. “They’re like, ‘It’s been there for years.’”
Kim, 45, immediately contacted brain surgeon Dr. Keith Black for help.
“I sent him a picture of my scan and he was like, ‘I want you to come in for all this imaging,’” she continued. “Then I asked, ‘Can I wait? What makes it rupture?’ And they’re like, ‘Just stress.’”
Kim admitted that the demands of her legal studies have been mentally draining.
“I’m like, ‘OK, I’m taking the bar exam and I’m studying 10 hours a day.’ The stress has been next level to the point of hives,” Kim shared.
News of Kim’s aneurysm diagnosis first came to light when a Season 7 teaser for the hit reality show aired in October.
Kim was seen confiding in the Poosh founder when she got the terrifying medical news.
Kourtney reacted with shock, placing a hand on her chest, before the scene cut out.
Kim provided an update on her health status while promoting her new series, “All’s Fair,” during an appearance on “Good Morning America” last month.
“I had to end up going and getting tons of other brain scans at Cedars-Sinai [Medical Center] with all the team,” she said.
Kim teased that “everything works out” for her and that the Prenuvo scan was “just a good measure to make sure you always check everything.”
“Health is wealth, and you just have to be careful with everything that you do,” she said.
Earlier this week, Kim posted a lengthy Instagram video showing her grueling preparation for the bar exam, which she ultimately failed.
“I’ve shared so much of this journey with you, and this summer I documented some of the final two weeks of studying – the ups, the downs, and everything in between,” she captioned the post.
“On November 7th, I found out I didn’t pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t the end.”
“This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there,” the post concluded.
Kim will be able to retake the California bar exam in February 2026.
