Free solo climber Alex Honnold will attempt to scale Taipei 101, the tallest building in Taiwan, in a live two-hour special. The show — appropriately called Skyscraper Live —will premiere in early 2026. Named for its 101 floors, Taipei 101 stands at 1,667 feet and is the 11th tallest building in the world.
“Skyscraper Live will kick off 2026 as our latest global must-watch live event,” said Brandon Riegg, Vice President of Nonfiction Series & Sports at Netflix. “Watching Alex Honnold free-climb Taipei 101 will be an adrenaline-inducing spectacle that you can’t look away from. Everyone will be talking about it as it happens.”
