The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is hosting a series of music concerts across its three campuses this December.

The concerts will take place in Stevens Point, Marshfield and Wausau, according to a community announcement.

Most concerts at the Stevens Point campus will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Noel Fine Arts Center’s Michelsen Hall, 1800 Portage St. Tickets are $18 for the general public, $16 for seniors and $10 for youth under 18 and university employees. UW-Stevens Point students can attend for free.

Concerts at the Marshfield campus will also start at 7:30 p.m. at the Helen Connor Laird Theatre, 2000 W. Fifth St. Tickets are $10 per person.

Wausau campus concerts will begin at 7 p.m. at the James F. Veninga Theater, 625 Stewart Ave. Tickets are also $10 per person.

The concert schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 2: Winter Vocal Jazz Showcase, UWSP at Wausau

  • Wednesday, Dec. 3: Campus Band, Campus Orchestra and Campus Choir Concert in Michelsen Hall

  • Friday, Dec. 5: UWSP Choirs Winter Concert at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 1401 Clark St. in Stevens Point

  • Saturday, Dec. 6: Symphony Orchestra Concert in Michelsen Hall

  • Monday, Dec. 8: Vocal Jazz Concert in Michelsen Hall

  • Tuesday, Dec. 9: Jazz Band Concert in Michelsen Hall

  • Wednesday, Dec. 10: Central Wisconsin Musicians – Winter Concert, UWSP at Wausau

  • Friday, Dec. 12: Tuba Christmas – 4 p.m. in Michelsen Hall, free

  • Friday, Dec. 12: Hub City Symphony Concert, UWSP at Marshfield

  • Saturday, Dec. 13: Central Wisconsin Voices – Winter Concert, UWSP at Wausau

How to attend

Tickets for all events can be purchased at uwsptickets.universitytickets.com, by calling 715-346-4100 or at each campus’ box office one hour prior to the event.
