Ed Sheeran, Noah Kahan perform impromptu set at Nashville’s Santa’s Pub
Nashville-favored global folk-pop stars Ed Sheeran, Noah Kahan performed an impromptu private set at Nashville’s Santa’s Pub on April 22, 2025.
Noah Kahan returned to Boston last night for what he called “the privilege of a lifetime.”
On Thursday, Nov. 20, the Vermonter played a one-night-only benefit concert at MGM Music Hall across from Fenway Park. The concert’s profits were split between The Busyhead Project, Kahan’s nonprofit and mental health initiative, and the Red Sox Foundation, the official team charity of the Boston Red Sox.
During the concert, Kahan, who said before that playing at Fenway Park was “the best night of his life,” expressed how happy he was to be back in Boston.
“Great thing to come home. Thank you so much y’all, we love you,” Kahan told the crowd. “This is the only city in the world that I’ve ever felt at home at, and I want to say thank you guys so much for sticking with me and being here to see us tonight. It’s the privilege of a lifetime.”
Kahan also thanked the crowd for contributing to the benefited charities, saying “you guys are really making a difference. It means so much to me, and it’s gonna mean so much to the people that these resources help.”
Throughout the night, Kahan played a mix of his biggest hits and unreleased songs from his new album, including “The Great Divide,” “Deny, Deny, Deny” and “Staying Still,” which Kahan said was about how much he hates Boston Logan Airport.
Kahan also brought out surprise guest Niall Horan for “Northern Attitude.”
“New music and a special guest Boston? Why not,” Kahan wrote on his Instagram story, following it up with “Greatest city on earth.”
When does Noah Kahan’s new album drop?
There is no official release date for Noah Kahan’s new album yet, but he said during the concert that the project is finished.
He’s teased the wait for the album on Instagram as recently as last week, saying “think about how satisfying it will be when the album finally comes out and u guys are like ‘yay.'”
