The Road continued its musical journey with the remaining seven musicians handpicked by Blake Shelton, Taylor Sheridan and Keith Urban competing in the new CBS singing competition in which they serve as the opening act for Keith. Their next stop was at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Okla.
For their fourth performance of the season, the seven remaining artists had to sing an original song and then join in one of two group songs. Group 1 was Cassidy Daniels, Adam Sanders and Jenny Toman singing “Go Your Own Way” by Fleetwood Mac. Group 2 was Channing Wilson, Britnee Kellogg, Cody Hibbard and Jenny Tolman singing “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The group songs were not voted on by the audience.
Blake was unable to make the concert as he was touring, so guest judge Dustin Lynch joined Keith in critiquing the artists.
At the end of the night, the bottom two vote getters were assessed by Keith and Dustin and one had to give up their seat on the bus when they were eliminated. The grand prize for winning The Road is a slot at Stagecoach, a recording contract and $250,000.

According to Keith, the voting was extremely close but once again Cassidy Daniels, who performed the original song “That Kind of Man,” rose to the top.
Who was in The Road bottom two last night?
The bottom two were Billie Jo and Jenny.
“Jenny, I think you’ve done the best tonight that you’ve done,” Keith told her. “But unfortunately, you’ve been in the bottom three times and because of that, we have to let you go tonight.”
“I’ve learned so much being here, I’m grateful,” said Jenny, who performed the original “Married in a Honky Tonk.” “Keith’s advice was amazing. I felt so much energy when I got up there on stage. But, at the end of the day, all the other artists did awesome and that’s what the audience’s vote was. Keith definitely helped bring out the strength in me. I definitely learned the importance of confidence. I am going to be taking that on the road with me in real life.”
