The crowd at Don’t Fall in Love Fest in San Bernardino got a massive surprise during Fuerza Regida’s headlining set. On Saturday night, Blink-182 musician Travis Barker popped up onstage for a drum solo as the group tore through their hit “Chaka.”
The drummer’s cameo might seem like an unexpected crossover moment, but Barker — like Fuerza Regida’s JOP — also hails from the Inland Empire. As the logos for 111xpantia and the Mexican flag flashed across the screens, Barker’s sticks flew while the frontman powered through the track.

Along with Fuerza, Future, Banda MS, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Chief Keef, Netón Vega, and Snow tha Product hit the stage at the Bobby Dee Presents co-hosted music festival, which featured música mexicana and hip-hop crossovers across the board. Future also welcomed Ty Dolla $ign onstage for a surprise duet.
“This festival is for my city and for the community. I always wanted to put on a show where the lineup was literally my playlist, artists I listen to, respect, and who represent where we come from,” frontman JOP said in a press release. “That’s what Don’t Fall In Love is: a festival built by the streets, for the streets, and for all the raza that’s been with us since day one.”
Fuerza Regida recently joined forces with Grupo Frontera during a performance of “Me Jalo” at the 2025 Latin Grammys, where they were nominated for an award. The band released their standout record 111xpantia in May 2025.
“This album right here, is all about making your dreams come true, bro,” JOP told Rolling Stone earlier this year. “The eye [in the artwork], it resembles manifestation. It resembles new beginnings. The 111 [angel numbers] in the name. The name Ixpantia comes from the Aztecs… It’s all about manifesting.”
