At the Out100 Celebration in Los Angeles on November 21, Frankie Grande spoke to E! News and gave a short but positive health update on his sister, Ariana Grande’s COVID diagnosis. The 42-year-old said, “She’s doing well.” He added, “As her brother, I send her all the love and healing vibes in the world,” revealing, “She’s working so much.”
Frankie further said the family is not worried and that she just needs time to rest. He explained, “We’ve all had COVID at this point. We know that she’s going to be fine.”
Ariana’s brother also praised her work in “Wicked: For Good,” saying that she fully shines as Glinda the Good. Frankie said he watched the movie four times and “It gets better every single time.” He gushed, “Her acting is masterful. Her craft is on full display, and I encourage everybody to go see it.”
The LA evening was meaningful for Frankie. He was one of the honorees at the event, which celebrated LGBTQ+ changemakers of 2025, and he used the opportunity to speak about how proud he feels to represent his community, saying, “It’s such an honor to be on the list this year. I live my whole life for my community.” He added, “All my art, everything that I do, I put out into the world in the hopes that it inspires other people to be themselves.”
