The Royal Family are looking at Sarah Ferguson’s next move “with concern” following her fall from grace after the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Fergie, as she is otherwise known, and her former husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, have been banished from public life after the King axed their titles and the former-prince’s honours.
It followed weeks of bombshells relating to the two and their association with the convicted paedophile. The King also forced the once-married couple out of Royal Lodge, the home they have shared since 2008, despite their divorce in 1996.
Now, new claims have suggested that Ms Ferguson might be considering her next move, which could involve a tell-all interview about her side of the story.
Fergie has reportedly been inundated with offers from TV networks around the world who would allegedly pay millions for the former Duchess to speak out.
However, a royal commentator said her next moves are likely to burden the royals with great worry, just weeks after the King’s dramatic decision to distance the Firm from the controversial couple, in a bid to avoid controversy.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Express: “In the past, she was able to make comebacks after she was hit by scandals and was admired for this. [But] with charities deserting her after it was proved that she lied regarding her links with Epstein, this seems highly unlikely.
“The Royal Family would obviously view any further publicity about her and possibly Andrew’s links with Epstein with concern.
“It depends on what her priorities are, how much money she actually has and what her plans are.
“We will doubtless discover soon, she was a disaster as a working royal and is totally shameless.”
