MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) – Cinergy Entertainment Group announced plans to open its newest location, Cinergy Midland Tall City, on Dec. 18.
The opening coincides with the release weekend of Avatar: Fire and Ash. The venue will include luxury dine-in movie theaters equipped with laser projection and Dolby Atmos sound systems.
Beyond movie auditoriums, the complex will offer boutique bowling lanes, arcade games, escape rooms and a full-service sports bar with a large projection screen.
The location is designed to serve as a multi-use entertainment destination for families, groups and corporate events.
Karting facility planned for 2026
The facility also will be home to Cinergy Speedway Extreme Karting, a multi-level indoor kart racing attraction scheduled to open in spring 2026.
The karting venue will feature electric karts, dual tracks and dedicated spectator viewing areas.
“Midland Tall City reflects our goal to bring high-quality entertainment options to growing communities,” said Jeff Benson, co-founder and CEO of Cinergy. “We’re excited to open at a time when moviegoers and families are looking for new experiences.”
Traci Hanlon, Cinergy’s chief marketing officer, said the project represents the company’s continued investment in the region.

Venue amenities
The complex features six dine-in auditoriums with laser projection and surround sound, including two large-format screens equipped with Dolby Atmos audio.
Eleven boutique bowling lanes include four private VIP lanes and adjacent event suites.
Four immersive escape room experiences are located on the second floor.
A selection of more than 80 arcade games offers entertainment for all ages.
A full-service sports bar includes a large projection wall and self-serve concession options.
Event hosting capabilities
Cinergy Midland Tall City also will offer private event spaces designed for corporate meetings, birthday celebrations and group gatherings, with audiovisual capabilities and catering services available.
