That surprise? Well, he gave them their money back.

“Thank you to the folks that braved the storm and made it out to the Wisconsin show,” he wrote in a post on Instagram. “I waived my fee for this show so all tickets can be refunded. I have instructed the venue to refund the tickets to the point of purchase, whether you were there or not. Your safety is of the upmost importance and is never taken for granted. Sending love to your families and I hope you have a safe and happy holiday.”

His followers on the platform were quick to respond.

“God Bless you!” one person wrote. “Class act!”

“He’s an amazing person!” another wrote. “

“You are the best Chris!!” another replied. “The refund will be used to attend a show of yours next year. Be safe & enjoy the rest of the tour!”

“You have the most amazing heart,” another added. “I’m proud to be amongst those that love your music as much as I do. To care about your fans that much that way deeply touches my heart. God Bless You Chris Young.”

WISN reported that Wisconsin Dells, where the concert took place, received between three and six inches of accumulation across the weekend.

Young’s acoustic Christmas tour is slated to wrap up on Dec. 20. It has stops slated for Dec. 11 in Wilkes Barre and Dec. 13 in Bensalem.
