Disclosure & Leon Thomas – ‘Deeper’

Remember Disclosure and Anderson .Paak’s recent collab ‘NO CAP’? That was fun, and it’s up for Best Dance/Electronic Recording at this year’s Grammys. Today, the electronic duo is back, teaming up with more of a rising R&B star, Leon Thomas, who is nominated for Best New Artist. It’s called ‘Deeper’. “Wow what a year this man has had and rightfully so,” Disclosure commented. “So gassed to have him on this one- we reached out after we heard ‘Mutt’ and were delighted to find out he was a mutual fan of ours. We knew his voice was gonna slot in just perfectly over this beat. Probably played him 2 others that day but it was just obvious this one was meant to be. Fun fact, the beat was named ‘Aquatic’ for the longest time.. guess because of the bubbly, underwater nature of the sounds used. So we just rolled with that theme for the lyrics & wrote the whole thing in an afternoon in LA. Leon is a beast in the studio, lyrically and production wise. It was a privilege to do this one together. Need to get some underwater headphones and get in the sea for this one. Enjoy!!!!!💙”

Djrum – ‘Come Find Me’

Djrum’s Under Tangled Silence may not have made our list of the best albums of 2025, but it’s still one of the most innovative electronic records of the year. (The producer did a spot in our best EPs list last year.) Today, he’s back with ‘Come Find Me’, which leads the upcoming compilation Quantum Sound. Mixed as a continuous 60-minute experience, the album explores “sound as meditation and the psychedelic edges of ambient electronic music,” per press materials, and ‘Come Find Me’ definitely leans into the whooshy, ambient corners of Djrum’s sound.

Guns N’ Roses- ‘Nothin” and ‘Atlas’

This pair of tracks doesn’t exactly mark a grand return for Guns N’ Roses, but they’re something. In fact, one of them is called ‘Nothin’’, and it’s much more of a breezier tune that the pounding ‘Atlas’. It’s also their first new music since parting ways with their longtime drummer Frank Ferrer earlier this year.

Lolo Zouaï – ‘Les Mots’ [feat. Dino]

Lolo Zouaï has linked with French artist Dino for a slinky, drill-inflected new single, ‘Les mots’. It arrives on the heels of her recent single ‘3AM in San Francisco’.

King Hannah – ‘Look at Miss Ohio’ (Gillian Welch Cover)

King Hannah have offered their take on Gillian Welch’s ‘Look at Miss Ohio’, which serves as the B-side to their previously released single ‘This Hotel Room’. As covers go, it’s as starkly moving as it is straightforward.

Victoryland – ‘Fits’

Ex-Blood member Julian McCamman has released a mesmerizing new track, Fits’, from his upcoming Victoryland album My Heart Is a Room With No Cameras In It. “A dance/trance song about the ultimate search for love in the face all of my childish demands,” McCamman shared. “Debts rarely get paid, why would love be any different?”

The Softies – ‘Turn It Up’ (Lisa Prank Cover)

Father/Daughter Records is celebrating its 15th anniversary with the F/D Fifteen, which sees 15 bands with records on Father/Daughter covering songs in the label’s catalog. Today, the Softies have shared a lovely rendition of ‘Turn It Up’ by Lisa Prank, who commented: “I cried when I heard this cover! The Softies are one of my favorite bands and some of my dearest friends, so it’s hard to fully explain how much it means to me that they covered my song so incredibly beautifully. I wish I could whisper this information into the ears of a younger version of myself and blow her mind.”

Sam Wenc – ‘Limitless of Blue’

Philadelphia–based composer, improviser, and interdisciplinary artist Sam Wenc has announced a new album Language at an Angle, his first under his own name after thirteen years and fifteen albums as Post Moves. Serving as a tribute to the late Susan Alcorn, it’s out January 30 via Lobby Art Editions, and the hypnotic lead single ‘Limitless of Blue’ is out now. “This piece came out of a long process of experimenting with the effects of playing an inverted 8″ cymbal on the pedal steel,” Wenc explained. “Finding the ways the strings and metal would interact and change with different degrees of touch and velocity. Performing it takes a fair amount of sustained physical exertion. When expanded to bring in other players, it took on this even larger, more emphatic quality. The piece feels very kinetic to me and that’s why I wanted to have Mikel compose a video for it, as I feel his video work has an orientation towards movement and tool making.”
