Meghan Markle has seen a major boost in her As Ever brand following the launch of a brand-new product yesterday. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Meghan shared that she had collaborated with another brand to release a trio of chocolate bars.
Alongside a picture of them, Meghan wrote on @aseverofficial: “Introducing The Limited Edition @aseverofficial x @compartes Holiday Trio [chocolate-bar emoji].” Despite only going on sale yesterday, the chocolate bars have already sold out on the As Ever website.
There was very little promotion prior to the release, although Meghan teased the release on Wednesday with a post that read, “things are about to get sweeter”.
The bars were made in partnership with Compartés Chocolate, which is a gourmet chocolatier based in Los Angeles.
The milk chocolate bar, which sold out first in less than 30 minutes, is made with shortbread cookies and bee pollen.
The dark chocolate bar, which was second to sell out, is made with raspberry spread and a sprinkle of sea salt.
The white chocolate bar, which was the last to sell out, is treated with flower sprinkles and hemp hearts. The chocolate was limited to two bars per buyer, and bars were priced at £9 [$12] each.
The latest offering by As Ever is “curated by Meghan and crafted by Compartés chocolatier and tastemaker Jonathan Grahm.
Following the release, the brand said the latest drop comes from a “small batch”. They also added: “Each bar comes wrapped in bespoke botanical-print paper—together, they form a gorgeous garden triptych so beautiful, all you need is a bow.”
The release came just one day after the release of Meghan’s Netflix Christmas on December 3.
