Doomsday is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who directed Endgame and marks the return to Marvel of actor Robert Downey Jr., who famously played Tony Stark/Iron Man over the course of numerous Marvel films. In Doomsday, however, he is playing classic villain Doctor Doom. Releasing Endgame will be a potent reminder of the creative power of the trio, as well as the power of popular actors assembling.
