David Corenswet has been flying high this year. After leading director James Gunn’s Superman, Corenswet joined Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey for Variety’s Actors on Actors. Clips from their conversation made the rounds online, including a viral moment in which they realized they “both kiss [while] levitating” in their latest films: Corenswet in DC’s updated take on the Big Blue Boy Scout and Bailey in Wicked: For Good. But before Corenswet was defying gravity onscreen, he got his start on the stage.
By the time he attended the Juilliard School in New York City, Corenswet had already appeared as a child actor in several professional theater productions, including All My Sons and Macbeth.
