- California’s IO Music Academy has opened a new campus.
Located at 430 Main Street in San Francisco, the new location includes two new studios-slash-classrooms. It also features a dedicated space for free workshops and events, which IO regularly runs around Los Angeles and the Bay Area.
The IO team will christen the new spot with an opening party on Thursday, December 11th from 6 PM to 10 PM local time. IO students and community members will DJ the event, which is free and open to the public. A gear giveaway is also set to take place.
Founded in 2017 by DJ and producer Andy Caldwell with support from Adam Johan Weimann, IO Music Academy offers small-group courses and private lessons in production, DJing and live performance. Its flagship location is in Los Angeles—alumni include fun2bjane, ZLATA and Kalinda.
