‘Hold My Hand’ is this year’s Number 1 song on TikTok
Jess Glynne has delighted fans by teasing some new music. The singer, who’s song ‘Hold My Hand‘ went viral this year on TikTok, 10 years after its initial release, confirmed to fans that new music will be coming next year.
After a few years away from music, Jess returned in April 2024, with an album called ‘Jess‘ featuring singles ‘Silly Me‘ and ‘Friend of Mine‘. And now she’s confirmed she will be releasing more music in 2026.
Taking to Instagram to share the exciting news that her song ‘Hold My Hand’ has been very successful on TikTok, the singer explained: “Hello! I’m so excited, I just found out that ‘Hold My Hand’ is the Number 1 song on TikTok, this year, in the UK, and it’s Number 2 globally.
“I mean, I couldn’t be more grateful to every single person who has listened to the record, who has made a creation to the record, posted the record…”
Jess continued: “I have to say, this song is one that, honestly, when I released it 10 years ago it changed my life, and to see it have this re-birth this year with a new generation and a new time, is just amazing and it’s a huge blessing for me.
“I am actually currently in LA, about to record something super special, for the song, and you will see it coming soon. Love you all, thank you again and I’ll see you next year with some new music.”

Jess has not confirmed exactly when she is releasing new music, however it will be in 2026.

Another catchy Number 1 hit from Jess Glynne was her 2015 single ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’. After receiving tons of praise for the lyrical content, the song helped Jess equal Cheryl’s record for the most Number 1 singles by a British female solo artist.

6) ‘These Days’ Ft Rudimental – 2018
After a three-year break from releasing music, Jess returned in style earlier this year when she teamed up with Rudimental on the hit track ‘These Days’. Helping Jess overtake Cheryl to break the record, the singer became the first British female solo artist to score six UK Number 1 singles. The track was certified 5x Platinum by the BPI in March 2025, meaning it’s scored over 3 MILLION sales in the UK alone!

Jess Glynne released ‘I’ll Be There’ in May 2018, the song was the lead single from her album ‘Always in Between’ and reached Number 1 in June of that year.
