PAPA to host carols at Fort Columbia

The Peninsula Association of Performing Artists will host its annual Christmas fundraiser, “Carols, Cookies and Cocoa,” at the Fort Columbia Theater, 475 US Highway 101, in Chinook.
The event runs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 14.
There will be a raffle, music and skits. Admission is free but donations will be accepted to help pay for PAPA’s theater productions, which include a summer musical which runs five weekends after the Fourth of July.
Its annual fall military themed concert and dance featuring the Dukes of Swing big band from Aberdeen, Wash., was postponed because of scheduling issues and may be staged in March.
