Netflix Unveils Second Immersive Entertainment Venue in This Popular City—Here’s an Inside Look

I think we can all relate to the feeling of wanting to actually step into our favorite shows and movies and experience worlds beyond our wildest dreams. The sweet and enchanting world of Willy Wonka, a trip down the rabbit hole like Alice in Wonderland—it’s the reason travelers flock to places like Disney World year after year and spend thousands of dollars to experience the most magical place on Earth. The best pieces of media invite us to fully immerse ourselves in them and become more than passive observers simply watching a screen.

Shows like Stranger Things and Squid Game are notorious for inviting viewers to become part of the experience by sparking conversations and encouraging engagement. We get to know the characters and see ourselves in them, which makes the show feel almost real. The unfortunate reality, though, is that outside of being cast in the show, it’s unlikely that we’ll ever truly understand what it feels like to visit the Upside Down or the fantastical, stylized interpretation of Seoul in K-Pop Demon Hunters.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t at least try, and if there’s anyone who can make our dreams of being real-life extras in our favorite series a reality, it’s Netflix. Lucky for us, the streaming giant that recently made headlines for potentially inking a deal with one of Hollywood’s oldest and most storied institutions, just announced the opening of their second-ever experiential Netflix House location.

Netflix House Lands in Dallas

After opening its first location in King of Prussia, Pa., just a month ago, the streamer has announced that its Dallas location is officially open for business. Just beyond the doors shaped like a bright red envelope—a callback to an era when Netflix mailed physical DVDs across the United States—awaits an immersive world inspired by some of the platform’s most popular titles. The space is anchored by several murals hand-painted by Dallas local Jeremy Biggers, whose realistic style brings the space to life.

Shows like Bridgerton and Squid Game spring to life in vivid detail, offering guests new and exciting ways to experience them. Outside of just being visually arresting, the venue also houses plenty of hands-on experiences like the Stranger Things: Escape the Dark challenge that tasks you with the responsibility of finding three Hawkins town people before the dangers lurking within get you. In the Netflix RePLAY area, you can dive into physical challenges, immersive story rooms, and retro-style games where you can take on your friends or play as a team.

And if that wasn’t enough, you can nosh on delicious food inspired by some of the hottest shows at the full-service Netflix BITES restaurant, offering things like a pickle pizza inspired by Chef’s Table, KBBQ pork ssam from K-Pop Demon Hunters, and a crispy fish sandwich inspired by One Piece. It’s truly a sight to behold, and for those lucky enough to live near the Galleria Mall in Dallas, entrance is free. This is just the second of three planned locations (so far), with the third one headed for Las Vegas in 2027.
