Why Prince William May Not Strip Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Of Their Titles
According to reports, the Prince of Wales may have initially wanted to strip both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles that were given to them by the late Queen Elizabeth II on their wedding day in 2018. Titles which many people think they should have stopped using when they stepped down as senior royals in 2020. However, he could be having a change of heart, given how little the Sussex name and brand seemingly means these days…
According to Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop, an insider claimed that Prince William may allow his brother and sister-in-law to keep their titles since he “sees no strategic threat” from the Sussexes and “doesn’t want to look petty.”
They added: “By the time William takes the throne, the Sussex brand will be so diminished it won’t even matter. Why take away something that’s already worthless?” The source went on to say that Prince William may feel that doing nothing is even more effective, adding: “Ignoring them will hurt more.” Interesting!

A Palace Insider Disagrees, And Thinks Prince Harry’s Title Could Be ‘The Next One To Go’
Not everyone agrees though, as Page Six has quoted a palace source as saying they “would not be surprised” if Prince William strips Prince Harry of his title, just like their disgraced uncle’s title was stripped, when he takes the throne. This could not only be in reference to his Duke of Sussex title, but also his Prince Harry title!
“If they pass these bills, I would not be surprised if Harry is the next one to go,” the source reportedly speculated.
“I would not be surprised if William does that…he’s not a vindictive person, but he feels very let down and it’s always much more difficult when you are let down by somebody close to you,” they added.

It seems like the majority of people on the internet agree with the palace insider, and think Prince Harry and Meghan should indeed be stripped of their titles. Sooner, rather than later!
“Harry and his wife have behaved very badly, especially when the Queen was still alive. I hope William does remove their titles,” wrote one Page Six reader.
“Taking away Andrew’s Prince title showed that it isn’t as untouchable as imagined. Sparry and the wife continue to bang a cymbal announcing their belief in their self-importance. Tick tock… it is just a matter of time until all four titles are removed,” slammed a second, also referencing their kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
“Harry is done as a royal,” thought a third, adding: “He betrayed Megxit, used titles for money and faux events. And criticized his family who gave him the titles. He is a middle age failure.”
A fourth chimed in: “Similar to what happened to Andrew, I can’t wait to hear about the removal of Harry and Meghan’s titles.”
