Casting for season 4 of “The White Lotus” is underway.
Deadline reported earlier this week that Helena Bonham Carter is in early talks for a starring role. While nothing is official just yet, the outlet reported that “exclusive conversations” are underway. NJ.com has reached out to HBO for comment.
Bonham Carter’s past roles include the “Harry Potter” film series (Bellatrix Lestrange), “The King’s Speech” (Queen Elizabeth), “Les Misérables” (Madame Thénardier) and “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” (Mrs. Lovett).

Casey Bloys, the Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content, confirmed last month that casting for season 4 of “The White Lotus” had begun.
“[Series creator] Mike [White] is writing, and he’s just starting the casting process,” Bloys said at an HBO press presentation, per Deadline. “It’s very, very early so I don’t have any names or anything like that, but he’s just starting.”
