Actor Corey Feldman is leveling claims of sexual misconduct against his late “Lost Boys” co-star Corey Haim.
In a new documentary, “Corey Feldman vs. The World,” now available for rent or purchase on Apple TV, the actor alleges that Haim molested him on the set of the 1987 vampire movie. Feldman and Haim were both around 16 years old at the film’s release.
Feldman, 54, and Haim, who died in 2010 at 38, both got their big break with “The Lost Boys,” sparking several years of collaboration.
“When we did ‘Lost Boys,’ Corey said to me, ‘Hey man, let’s mess around,'” Feldman says in the documentary, per Variety. “And I said, ‘What do you mean?'”
Feldman goes on to allege that Haim told him “guys in the business” perform sexual favors for one another, per Variety, and that fellow actor Charlie Sheen had told him it was OK.
USA TODAY has reached out to Sheen and Feldman’s reps for comment. A representative for Haim was not immediately available for comment.
“When you have got somebody that’s trying to come onto you sexually, and you don’t want that, and you are a kid, and you are scared, you do whatever you can to stop it from happening,” Feldman says in the documentary, per Variety. “And that’s what was happening. I was being molested by Corey Haim. Truth be told.”
This is not the first time Feldman has spoken out about alleged sexual abuse in Hollywood. In 2017, the Los Angeles Police Department said it was looking into his claims about a long-running pedophilia ring in the entertainment business.
Feldman has said he was abused by a number of men in the business, including actor John Grissom and talent agent Marty Weiss, both of whom are convicted sex offenders.
